Direction of the institute is formed by one director and a board of three vice-directors. The director is the coordinator of the Project, and he can be substituted by any of the vice-directors in case of absence or lack of availability. For the period 2015-2021 the Director will be Prof. José Eduardo Krieger (InCor, Hospital das Clínicas, USP, SP) and the vice-directors will be Prof. Marco Antonio Gutierrez (InCor, Hospital das Clínicas, USP, SP), Prof. Pablo Javier Blanco (LNCC/MCTI) and Prof. Raúl A. Prof. José Eduardo Krieger. [Detalhes]

Coordinator of the INCT-MACC for the period 2015-2021. Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. Graduated at the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine, from the Universidade de São Paulo (1984), received the Doctoral Degree in Physiology by the Medical College of Wisconsin (1988), and carried out Post-Doctoral activities in Molecular Biology in the Harvard Medical School (1989-1990) and Stanford University School of Medicine (1990-1992). He has been professor of the Universidade de São Paulo since 1990. His is part of the Cardiopneumology Department from the Medical School of the USP, where he is Full Professor in Molecular Medicine and is head of the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology of the InCor-HCFMUSP. Prof. Marco Antonio Gutierrez. [Detalhes]

President of the Brazilian Society of Health Informatics (SBIS). Graduated by the School of Engineering of the Universidade de São Paulo, São Carlos (1985), received the Doctoral Degree in Electric Engineering by the Polytechnique School of the Universidade de São Paulo (1995) and is Professor in Medical Informatics at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2008). He is Collaborator Professor in the post-graduation program in Biomedical Engineering at the Universidade de São Paulo (since 1988).
