Consolidate the Visiting Professors Program of the INCT-MACC

Since its conception in November 2008, the INCT-MACC has maintained a significant program of visiting professors/researchers renowned institutions abroad. This exchange has allowed us to get to know the scientific level reached by groups abroad from close up, reorienting our research when necessary in order to ensure that R&D at the INCT-MACC remains at the frontier of knowledge. Thus, this program aims to achieve: (i) the development and level of research in which these researchers participate; (ii) the strengthening the planning of high-level advanced courses, taking advantage of the presence of these researchers; (iii) further strengthening the integration of the various Associate Laboratories of INCT-MACC, promoting the presence of researchers / students from these laboratories into these advanced courses; (iv) promote scientific exchange between researchers and students of the INCT-MACC and researchers of foreign institutions and, finally, (v) contribute to the international design of R&D at the INCT-MACC.

Goals

• By the end of 2021: receive about 90 internationally renowned researchers in the areas of expertise of the INCT- MACC.
